How the CEB Award works

Organisations based in one of CEB member countries or individuals who are at least 18 years old are eligible to nominate a project for the CEB Award. The beneficiaries of the project must also be in one of the CEB member countries.

The project should be in the early stages of implementation at a minimum. The overarching theme of ‘social cohesion’ will be assessed on:

  • impact
  • sustainability
  • innovation/replicability

Applying for the CEB Award puts your project in the running for €45,000 in funding to advance your work on social cohesion, with two additional shortlisted projects receiving €5,000 each.

This competition offers tangible support from the Council of Europe Development Bank to social entrepreneurs and organizations making remarkable contributions across Europe, providing both financial backing and international recognition for your initiative.
